Hyderabad to Host 72nd Miss World Beauty Pageant

Hyderabad: The prestigious 72nd Miss World beauty pageant is set to return to India, with Hyderabad chosen as the host for the grand event in 2025. Spanning four weeks from May 7 to 31, the festival will take place across various destinations within the state, culminating in the opening and closing ceremonies, including the grand finale, in Hyderabad.

Following the tremendous success of the 71st Miss World held in New Delhi and Mumbai, the global beauty pageant moves to Telangana, a state known for its rich heritage and modern appeal. The announcement was made by Julia Morley CBE, Chairman and CEO of Miss World Limited, in the presence of Smita Sabharwal, Secretary to the Government of Telangana, Tourism, Culture, Heritage, and Youth Affairs Department.

Julia Morley expressed her excitement, saying, “We are thrilled to bring the 72nd Miss World Festival to Telangana, a state that beautifully represents its rich culture, innovation, and hospitality.
