Hyderabad: Icon Star Allu Arjun has been served a notice by the Ramgopalpet Police. The notice directed him not to visit Sri Tej, who is currently receiving treatment at KIMS Hospital after being injured during the stampede at Sandhya Theater.
Ramgopalpet Police handed over the notice to Bunny’s manager, Murthy, at Allu Arjun’s residence in Hyderabad. The notice emphasized that Arjun should avoid visiting Sri Tej for security reasons. It also stipulated that if he still intends to visit, he must follow their guidelines and would be held responsible for any unforeseen incidents.
This notice was issued following reports that Arjun planned to visit the injured child. On December 4 of the previous year, a stampede occurred at Sandhya Theater during the premiere of “Pushpa-2.” Allu Arjun’s presence at the theater led to a massive rush of fans eager to see him, resulting in a stampede in the complex.
It had tragically claimed the life of a woman named Revathi and left her son, Sri Tej critically injured. The police had registered a case and arrested Allu Arjun, presenting him before the Nampally Court, which subsequently remanded him to 14 days in judicial custody and sent him to Cherlapally Jail.
Arjun then approached the High Court, which initially granted him four weeks of interim bail followed by regular bail. Additionally, as per the court’s directions, Allu Arjun is required to attend the Chikkadpally Police Station every Sunday in connection with the Sandhya Theater incident.
As directed by the Court Today, he attended the police station for the regular hearing.
