The announcement includes the introduction of new buffer zone limits and Full Tank Level (FTL) markings, which are expected to be finalized soon.

Key Initiatives Announced:

  2. Consideration of Weir Height: The height of weirs will be taken into consideration to ensure accurate and effective lake management.
  3. Flawless System Implementation: A comprehensive system for lake protection will be established within three to four months, making it easily understandable to the general public.
  4. FTL Marking: Clear FTL markings will be introduced to aid public understanding, with a focus on raising awareness and compliance.
  5. Complaint Redressal: The committee has received 6000 complaints. Citizens can personally hand over their complaints to the Commissioner’s office at Bhuja Bhavan, top floor, between 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM.
  6. No Retrospective Actions: There will be no demolition of houses built before the regulations came into existence, and permissions granted before the new rules will be honored.

These measures reflect the committee’s commitment to creating a robust and efficient system for lake preservation, ensuring that regulations are clear and accessible to the public.
