BRS Leader Raises Concerns Over Telangana Group I Exam Results

Hyderabad: BRS leader Dr. Krishank has voiced serious concerns about the fairness of the Telangana Group I examination results, alleging irregularities in the evaluation process. On Saturday, he revealed that 654 candidates, seated next to each other during the examination, secured nearly identical marks. Drawing parallels to the infamous Vyapam scandal, Dr. Krishank has called for a judicial inquiry to ensure transparency and accountability.

The Group I examination, regarded as the premier state services exam, plays a crucial role in shaping Telangana’s administration. Allegations of irregularities in its evaluation process have raised questions about the integrity of the system. Dr. Krishank emphasized that such issues could have far-reaching consequences, undermining public trust in the recruitment process.

The recruitment drive aimed to fill 563 posts, attracting over 4.03 lakh aspirants. Of these, 31,403 candidates qualified for the Mains examination. The Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) released the marks and general ranking list for the Mains on March 31.

The allegations have sparked widespread debate, with many demanding a thorough investigation to uphold the credibility of the examination process. The outcome of these concerns remains to be seen as calls for accountability grow louder
