Hyderabad: Marking a grand return after a 14-year gap to celebrate excellence in Telugu cinema, Gaddar Awards were announced by the Telangana Government. Named in honor of the late revolutionary poet and singer Gaddar, the awards aim to recognize outstanding contributions to the Telugu film industry. The ceremony is slated for June 14, 2025, at Hyderabad’s Hitech City, promising a spectacular tribute to Tollywood’s finest talents.
At a press conference held this morning ( May 29, 2025 ), Telangana Film Development Corporation (FDC) Chairman and acclaimed producer Dil Raju, alongside jury chairperson and veteran actress Jayasudha, revealed the award winners. Jayasudha highlighted the impartiality of the selection process, stating, “The government ensured complete autonomy for the jury. We selected the winners through a fair and unanimous decision-making process, free from any external influence.”
