Today, Shamshabad Airport will welcome three more contestants-Maria Amelia Antonio from Portugal, Jutta Ama Pokuhaa Addo from Ghana, and Jasmine Gerhard from Ireland- who are arriving to compete for the coveted crown.
The Telangana Tourism Department has rolled out the red carpet, ensuring a grand reception steeped in traditional Indian hospitality, complete with cultural performances and floral tributes to honor the guests. “We are thrilled to welcome these remarkable women to our vibrant city. Hyderabad is ready to showcase its rich culture and warmth to the world,” said a Tourism Department official. Already settled in Hyderabad are Zoyalize Jansen van Rensburg (Miss South Africa), Jessica Scandiuzzi Pedroso (Miss Brazil), Emma Deanna Cathryn Morrison (Miss Canada), and Julia Evelyn Morley, the Miss World CEO and Chairperson.
Their arrival has heightened anticipation for the pageant, which promises to be a spectacular celebration of beauty, talent, and purpose. On May 10, Miss World Chairperson Julia Morley will meet with government officials to review preparations and finalize details for the opening ceremony, set to take place at the iconic Gachibowli Indoor Stadium.
