Key Decision on Drought-Affected mandals in Andhra Pradesh
The Revenue Department Special Chief Secretary R.P. Sisodia issued a formal notification (on March 31, 2025) declaring 51 mandals across the state as drought-affected. Of these, 37 mandals have been identified as suffering from severe drought conditions, while 14 mandals are classified as moderately affected. This declaration pertains to the Rabi season of 2024-25.
