Pawan Kalyan’s Kind Act Brings New Hope to “Pakeeza”

Tamil Nadu : In the quiet town of Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu, veteran Telugu actress K. Vasuki, fondly known as Pakeeza for her comedic roles in South Indian cinema, faced a heart-wrenching struggle. Once a beloved figure who brought laughter to countless households, Pakeeza now grappled with severe financial distress, her family barely surviving.

Her plight, shared in an emotional video plea, reached Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, a man known for his empathy as much as his stardom and political stature. Moved by her story, Pawan, the Jana Sena Party chief, acted swiftly. On July 1, 2025, he extended an invitation to Pakeeza through his party’s network. At the Jana Sena office in Mangalagiri, Government Whip P. Hariprasad and MLA Giddi Satyanarayana handed over Rs 2 lakh in financial assistance on Pawan’s behalf.

The gesture, though modest in the grand scheme, was a lifeline for Pakeeza’s family, offering hope amid despair. Overwhelmed, Pakeeza expressed her gratitude, her voice trembling with emotion. “If I could see him, I’d touch his feet,” she said, tearfully wishing Pawan would one day become Chief Minister for his compassion. This act of kindness underscores Pawan Kalyan’s reputation as a leader who connects with people’s struggles. For Pakeeza, whose comedic legacy once lit up screens, the aid was more than money. It was a reminder that her contributions were not forgotten.

The gesture resonated deeply, proving that even a token of help can heal hearts and restore dignity. As Pakeeza’s story spreads, it highlights the power of empathy in bridging the gap between past glory and present hardship, offering a beacon of hope for others in need.
