Nalgonda: Bhikshapati, the District Educational Officer (DEO) of Nalgonda, has found himself embroiled in a legal tangle after his first wife lodged a formal complaint against him on Thursday, accusing him of infidelity and bigamy. The complaint, filed with local police, alleges that Bhikshapati has been living with another woman and fathering children with her, all while still legally married to his first wife.
The first wife, who has been involved in a long-running legal battle with the DEO, took to the streets in protest, holding up their wedding photographs as evidence of their ongoing marital bond. During the protest, she claimed that Bhikshapati had no right to live with another woman while their marriage was still intact, calling his actions a “betrayal.”
“I am still his wife,” she stated firmly. “He has no legal grounds to cohabit with another woman while we are not divorced. This is a deep betrayal of our vows.”
The complaint comes on the heels of other allegations against Bhikshapati, who has recently been the subject of media scrutiny for various reasons. This latest controversy only adds to the DEO’s growing list of legal troubles, sparking further questions about his personal and professional conduct.
