Major fire in an under-construction battery unit at Shamshabad airport

Shamshabad, December 24, 2024: A fire broke out at the Amar Raja battery unit in Shamshabad early this morning around 5 AM, causing significant damage to the under-construction complex. The fire, suspected to have been caused by a short circuit on the third floor, was quickly contained by the efforts of five fire tenders.
