Just Congress rumours, no truth! Harish Rao denies exit

Hyderabad: With speculation surrounding the discord within the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) being intensified, and senior leader T Harish Rao becoming a central figure in the controversy, the party leadership has come out with a strong rebuttal.

A recent online report claimed that Harish Rao was being sidelined within the party and he was contemplating an exit. In response, Rao issued a strong rebuttal, dismissing the allegations as “entirely false and malicious.” He accused the Telangana Congress and its IT cell of fabricating such narratives through selective media leaks to divert attention from their governance failures.

BRS leaders have reaffirmed party unity, rejecting any notions of internal fissures. Sources within the party believe that the Congress, struggling under pressure for delays in implementing key electoral promises such as the Rythu Bharosa scheme, is resorting to diversionary tactics to deflect public criticism.

With misinformation emerging as a key tool in Telangana’s volatile political landscape, both the ruling Congress and the opposition BRS appear locked in a fierce battle of narratives. But the fact is Harisha Rao has played an unusually low profile BRS silver Jubilee rally in Warangal.

The undeniable fact is even his image was found missing from the backdrop banner of the Silver Jubilee dais. For the first time in the recent history of the BRS only KCR and his son KTR figured in it giving indications that it is only K T R who will be next inline.
