Dhoni makes yet another monumental milestone

Chennai: MS Dhoni has etched his name in IPL history by achieving a monumental milestone-completing 200 dismissals behind the stump.  The legendary captain of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), once again proved why he is regarded as one of the greatest wicketkeepers in cricket history.

During CSK’s high-stakes clash against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 2025 Indian Premier League, Dhoni reached two monumental milestones behind the stumps, setting a new world record.  He showcased his lightning-fast reflexes by executing a sharp stumping to dismiss Ayush Badoni.

Shortly after, he further cemented his legacy with a spectacular catch to send Rishabh Pant back to the pavilion. These two pivotal dismissals added yet another chapter to his illustrious career and reinforced his reputation as a master of wicket-keeping.

With these milestones, Dhoni became the first player in IPL history to surpass a landmark figure in wicket-keeping dismissals, leaving an indelible mark on the tournament’s records.
