Now Telangana legislators too can facilitate Tirumala Darshan

In a significant move, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has decided to honor recommendation letters from Telangana MLAs, MLCs, and MPs.

This decision comes after a period of contention regarding the acceptance of such letters for facilitating darshan and accommodations for devotees from Telangana. TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu prevailed upon Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and obtained his approval.

The TTD board has announced that recommendation letters from Telangana leaders will now be accepted twice a week for two Break Darshans and two Suphadam service. This decision aims to ensure that devotees from Telangana receive the same privileges as those from Andhra Pradesh, fostering a sense of equality and respect.

The move has been welcomed by Telangana public representatives, who had previously expressed concerns over the rejection of their recommendation letters. The TTD’s commitment to addressing these concerns reflects its dedication to serving all devotees fairly and without discrimination.
