Hyderabad, Dec 25: A tragic incident has caused a stir in Sadashivanagar Mandal, Adlur Yellareddy, where three members of the Bikkanur police staff are feared to have committed suicide by jumping into a lake.
Incident Details
The individuals involved are Bikkanur SI Saikumar, Bibipet Police Station woman constable Shruthi, and computer operator, Nikhil. The mobile phones and other belonging of the three persons were found at the tank bund. On Wednesday midnight, the trio drove to the lake in Saikumar’s car. The exact events leading up to the incident remain unclear, but it is believed that all three jumped into the lake together, resulting in their deaths.
Local residents, who noticed the car parked near the lake, also found the shoes of constable Shruthi and Nikhil, along with their cell phones, near the car, leading them to suspect a tragic incident. The locals immediately informed the police.
Police Response
Upon receiving the information, Superintendent of Police, Sindhu Sharma, along with other police officials, rushed to the scene. A search operation was initiated with the help of divers to locate the bodies of the three individuals.
